Description: Fantastic Primitive, Carved from one large piece of wood. I purchased this and a couple other pieces in N.J. The Seller thought it was possibly Native American. I could not verify that. I just thought it was a really unique, very old piece that some spent a lot of time carving out and making the wonderful sliding lid. I thought it could possibly be a candle box. 15 inches long, by 5 7/8 inches wide by 2 3/4 inches high. The carve out is 9 inches long, by 4 1/4 inches wide by 1 1/4 inches deep.
