Description: This is a remarkable handmade bench from a local estate. Wonderful lines and very well constructed. It appears it used to have a cushion attached. We believe this was handmade in the late 1890s-early 1900s. You rarely see these anymore and it’s in really great condition for its age. The bench is sturdy and ready for its next work of art in the form of needlepoint or any form of needlecraft. It’s like a blank canvas for an artist. The top lifts off as shown in the pictures.
