Description: PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION DON'T HESITATE TO OFFER From my own personal collection I'm offering another gorgeous little pre-war vehicle. Up for sale is a beautiful little Antique Pre-war Blue Marx Speedway Racecar Wind-up Tin Toy. Actually I have 2 more of these racecars. One blue and one red one (so in total I have 3 of these racecars, 2 blue cars and 1 red one. I will have the others listed under my other items. This adorable little car was made by the Marx Toy Co. in the U.S.A (or possibly England) sometime during the 1930s. This car was originally part of the Speedway Race Track Set. the reason why I say this car may have been produced in England is because that is where I got it, and also Marx had a company over there producing tin toys. England produced Marx toys are quite rare. There are markings anywhere on the car saying where it was made or by whom. I know Marx is the maker though. Anyway... The cars colors are very bold and bright. The lithographs are quite crisp and clean. The only flaw I can see is the roof has some scratches on it. Other than that it's in great shape. No dents, dings. The wind-up mechanism works very well. Everything is 100% completely original with no replacement or missing parts. All the tabs are present and accounted for. There is no metal fatigue anywhere on the car. Although the lithographs aren't that detailed, I enjoy the simple well placed lines and way it's done. The colors compliment each other very well. Plus the silver/white accents are almost reflective in a way are very neat. It really sets off the blue and black. The measurements are approximately 4in. L 1 1/2in. W 1 1/2in. H... This little Antique Pre-war Blue Marx Speedway Racecar Wind-up Tin Toy is absolutely perfect for anyone who needs a car to complete their Speedway set, any current or former mechanic, any racing enthusiast, anyone who loves old cars, and or any tin toy collector.I'm always willing to work with people, make good deals, and combine shipping. But please don't take advantage of me. Normally when someone has a "make an offer" button they wont go less than $5 or wont go under their listed price at all. That's not me. Please be fair with me and I'll be fair with you. Just check my feedback... Please look at the pictures as they are a major part of the description. Please also take the time to read my entire listing... IM VERY SORRY BUT I DO NOT HAVE ANY CONTROL OVER THE TAXES/FEES THAT EBAY OR YOUR/MY STATE MAY IMPOSE UPON YOU Regardless if being 100% truthful and honest will make me lose a sale, I don't care. I am always brutally honest and truthful with any flaws I find. The buyers happiness is what I care about. I have been burned many times buying tin toys/antiques online. People stretch the truth and or straight out lie just to make a sale. That's not me... I have always taken pride in my antiques and tin toys. What you see and read is exactly what you will get. I value my customers and your happiness with my items I have collected over the years. It is BY FAR of the utmost importance to me. I make sure to describe both good points and potential bad points of everything I offer. I am just trying to find my tin toys and antique oddities a good new home Please check back from time to time as I try to list more items all the time. Please make sure you take the time to read my entire description. Also please make sure you look at the pictures very closely as they are a major part of the description. If you have any questions or concerns please make sure that you would address me before you purchase. I try to put out the best product I possibly can. Everything I am selling is from my own personal collection. I charge a flat rate for shipping and any extra goes back into buying supplies which are not cheap. I make sure to pack all of my items impeccably so they survive the journey to your home. I do not trust the Postal Service and how they disrespect people's packages. I trust myself... I DO NOT ACCEPTRETURNS I am very sorry but I havebeen burned by people who abuse the return system. No matter if you clearly state that you do not accept returns, eBay will bully you by saying that (if you do not accept the return and give the buyer a full refund) the buyer is allowed to leave negative feedback which will end up making me pay more in fees. I research, describe, picture and love each item I am selling to a nauseating detail. I am open to any questions anytime day or night. I used to accept returns but people abuse it. Too many people don't read things the whole way. I am NO EXPERT in anything nor claim to be (especially jewelry). So if you have any questions about anything please do not hesitate to ask. I am just trying to sell my collection of many years and many different types of items to help pay for this surgery that just became available. If you would like to insure your item for more than $50(most of my items are worth more than $50) PLEASE CONTACT ME AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE & I can add extra insurance Please take a look at my other items/listings. I will be listing a lot of military medals, military items, old tin toys, amazing antiques, and other awesome oddities. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
