Antique Porcelain Painted Mantel Shelf Clock & Matching Vase Scenes of Gypsies

Description: I am sorry that I don't know more about this set. I can see no marks on this mantel clock and matching vase. At one time, there was probably a pair of vases, one with the man and one with the woman. The clock has a gypsy caravan with a town in the background and a "gypsy" woman in the foreground. The scene is complete with a beautiful landscape, in rich colors. There is some wear to the lady, please enlarge the photo. Nothing major, but this is an old set and it will not be absolutely perfect. Some creazing in the shiny glaze as well from age and use;. The clock does not appear to run, so don't know if it needs cleaning or a replacement works. I see no chips, cracks or repairs. The clock measures about 10 1/4" from top to bottom and 8" across. 3" from front to back. The vase has a gypsy (possibly) man, sitting on a fence while a kettle is slung over an opem fire. The caravan is on the back of the vase. Same beautiful colors with crazing on the underside and a place on the foot where the turquoise color is missing. Minimal, but photographed. No chips or cracks on this piece either. Possibly a decal, with airbrushed turquoise and yellow. The vase measures 8 1/4" from top to bottom and and about 5 1/4" from side to side. This this time period is about 1940's or so. Wonderful set!
