Antique Porcelain Hutschenreuther & Selb Lidded Biscuit

Description: (GAR-11) Circa 1920's Antique Hutschenreuther & Selb porcelain biscuit box with lid. Lovely cream-colored porcelain box has hand painted wild rose design on sides and lid. The handles of the box and finial on lid are painted gold and the rims are gilded. The interior of the bowl, lid, and bottom are bright white and clear glazed. The underside has the Hutschenreuther & Selb stamp Bavaria and is signed by the artist. This is where my great grandmother kept her homemade scones that she would serve with fresh berries and other fresh baked goodies that she would lay out on matching serving pieces. She used to let me play with the set of salt cellars when I had high tea with my dolls.
