Description: These antique pillowcases are #3 of 17 early textiles I'll be listing. Early matching pair of 1800s medium weight flax linen pillowcases that are either 'homespun' or woven at a water powered textile mill in New England. There are 2 hand cross stitched initials and #7 in faded gold thread with SALLIE E. STANTON's name stamp. There's a double row of hand knit lace at the closed end while the opening and side seam are all hand rolled and hand stitched. Measure 30" long x 18" wide. Perfection cannot possibly be expected with such antique textiles as there's only two brown spots, NO damage, NO repairs, NO horrible odor, NO thin worn areas, NO holes, and they weigh a hefty 15 oz. I GLADLY COMBINE SHIPPING. SHIPPING is $6 with USPS from Maine. Thanks ~ Marsha.
