Description: I have up for sale a wonderful antique - last patent date of May 19 , 1891 - Torsion Balance Co - New York Pharmacy / Apothecary Scale - Type 289. Appears to be functional but untested for accuracy . Nice Cosmetic Condition with some normal age / use wear and such - read the condition report and view all the pics . It measures approx 11-1/2" wide not including the bolts for attaching to a table or work bench. .It stands approx 6-1/2" tall and 5" or so deep not including the front finger knob and weighs just under 7.5 lbs. There is one small crack located on the upper left top pane of glass - on the back - shown in several pics. This is an antique / well used scale sold as a pharmacy / apothecary collectible. Please view each and every pic , ask for more if needed - do so prior to purchase. Ask all questions prior to purchase and simply be a responsible buyer . I have provided lots of information and nice pics .
