Antique Peach/Orange Glass HANGING PULL-DOWN OIL LAMP (or Electric)- Repaired Antique Victorian Peach/Orange Glass HANGING PULL-DOWN OIL LAMP (or Electric)- Repaired This beautiful antique oil lamp is in nice condition with some repairs. Overall it's a pretty piece that's fully functional with glass that's an unusual opalescent peach-orange-amber color. The lamp has a chain and pulley system so that you can pull down the oil lamp part to fill or light it, and everything appears to be original. The lamp has a P & A/ Banner burner with a new wick. The tank is completely clean with no kerosene residue or odors. I'm including an electric "burner" that just screws into the tank to make this an electric lamp. The pulley wheels appear to have been resoldered into place, and while it looks iffy it seems solid. The shade has two long cracks on either side that have been glued, and the repairs seem really solid. You can place the arm brackets in such a way that both cracks will face the wall. The metals all have patina, some wear, and some rust. The chimney also wobbles a bit when you're handling the lamp. Please see all pictures for additional details.
