These beautiful vases are made of bronze and are from the Meiji Period of Japan, which was from 1868-1912. These pieces depict a pair of roosters on plum branches made of mirrored inlay which is gold, silver, and red enamel. The surfaces of the vases are a beautiful rubbed oil bronze color and have an excellent patina to them. Both of the vases are signed in Kanji by the artist Mitsufune. Each vase is unique and hand crafted. They are both in excellent antique condition with no major damage, cracks, bent parts, etc... Each piece measures in at 5 15/16" tall with a 2 3/8" diameter.
