Description: Here is a handsome working antique Victor VI phonograph by the Victor Talking Machine Company with all original parts, including wood mahogany horn. This phonograph is a recent estate find and plays as it should with Exhibition reproducer having great volume and clarity. Nothing has been done to this machine except installing a new wool turntable felt. This outfit plays 78rpm records, 5 records included, many more are available on eBay and elsewhere. The mahogany cabinet retains its original finish and but shows a number of bumps and bruises from its 100 year history and possibly has a repaired side panel. The original gold plated hardware all looks good , with mild wear and no dents to the tone arm and elbow. Corner columns and gold plated capitals are also in good shape. The mahogany horn has some blemishes as pictured, with some veneer lifting, the metal collar with cracks not affecting use, and the Victor decal appears to be a replacement. Overall , still a handsome looking machine that presents well and plays loud and clear , ready for years of enjoyment. This phonograph is ready to use and enjoy upon delivery , with 5 78rpm records and extra needles. A great centerpiece to an antique phonograph collection. Please inspect photos carefully.
