Description: Lovely antique German Porcelain bowl, marked with the OLS St. Kilian Germany makers mark used between 1904 - 1914 by Oscar Schlegelmilch (son of Leonhard Schlegelmilch). Because of the transfer-ware sprays of blooming Heather it makes me think of St. Patrick's Day! The bowl is scalloped around the edges and decorated with green lines and edging and both transfer pattern and hand-painted GOLD trim. Some of the GOLD is in raised dots. I would call it a centerpiece bowl, as it is beautiful from any direction. It is in EXCELLENT condition, with no faults. Dimensions are: 11 1/2" Diameter x 2 3/4" Tall Makers marks on the bottom are impressed, printed and hand written:Impressed marks include "K" in the center, and the number "031" near the bottom rim.The Printed mark is the 1904 - 1914 maker's mark of Oscar Schlegelmilch: OLS around a lozenge containing the image of the Saint. It reads "ST. KILIAN GERMANY" below.Handwritten numbers are: 037/5522/852
