Description: Painting We are selling this great old master oil on canvas painting with many figures. This painting portrays Emperor Augustus at the death-bed of Cleopatra. This painting is attributed to Ottmar Elliger the Younger (1666-1735) based on similar paintings by him of this scene. The painting came from a good Connecticut Estate. Condition: Painting has been cleaned recently but is still dark. Has been re-lined so it is possible there are some old restorations.
