Description: Set of 3 Antique Nippon 1891-1921 Geisha Ware Hand Painted - Cherry Blossom Trees have Moriage Technique. All three bowls are slightly different in their scenery. There may be slight paint loss on the bowl rims; it’s hard to tell what is actual paint loss, versus just a result of hand painting from that era. These may have been a part of a berry bowl set and are the only remaining survivors, or possibly a part of a nut bowl set. They would still make nice snack bowls or, even nicer used as dipping/sauce bowls!! They could easily be turned into a really nice display as well. They are 5” in diameter. Approximately 1 1/8” in height. Combined weight is: 10.9oz. There are no chips, no cracks, and no repairs on any of the pieces. One bowl has a tiny rough spot from manufacturing. - Spot pointed out in photo. All three bowls are marked: Hand Painted - Nippon, on their bottoms.
