Description: Antique Nippon Hand Painted Desert Scene Plate made during the Art Deco Period and Egyptian Revival Period. It measures 10" in diameter and is in excellent condition. There are no chips or damage & the raised gold on the rim is in excellent condition. This plate was made in Japan circa 1900 - 1920's. It was done in a matte finish with the rim having this Aztec or Egyptian Design and highlighted in gold leaf. Overall, this plate is practically mint and it is over 100 years old. Very well taken care of. Marked Nippon - Hand Painted with a Flower mark in blue. If purchased, I will add insurance for the amount paid at no cost to you.
