Here is a very clean antique Montgomery dial Illinois Sangamo 16 Size open face case pocket watch that is currently running but is sold as-is. This is a 1909 vintage Illinois Railroad Quality Sangamo, Model 4 movement It has a SIGNED 21 Jewel 6 adjust and temp. corrected movement with a serial # 1,746,097 which dates this watch to 1909. The movement has gold jewel setting and screwed chatons, lever set, fancy micrometric regulator. Cool "Bright-spotted" finished movement. Very nice high quality movement and somewhat rare movement/ watch. The clean fancy Keystone Victory Watch Case Co. 10k roll gold plated watch case shows very little wear and has a fancy decorated edge front and back rim. The screw-off case back has a striped pattern and a 3 initial shield. The case measures 49.4 mm wide not including the fancy bow and crown. The case is 13.3 mm thick. Has a clean glass crystal. The double sunken SIGNED dial has a handsome Montgomery dial with bold black script Arabic numeral hour markers and blued hands. Sunken seconds register at the 6 o'clock position. Very clean and desirable dial on this Illinois 21 Jewel watch. Please look at my pictures.
