Antique Mirror Round Hand Crafted Gilt Gesso Frame Empire Style 19th Century

Description: This for a unique antique gilt Gold Empire styled wall mirror. What is special about this piece is the gilt gold wood frame and the backing and how the item was crafted along with the age of approx late 1800's. This mirror measures 11 inches in diameter and 19 inches in diameter with the frame with a depth of 3 inches. The frame is a carved wood with a gesso overlay that is in very antique "loved" condition, there are many noted chips and cracks. The mirror has minor spotting. The hangers on the back are unique and appear to be original along with the wood to that holds the mirror in place. **All items are vintage and if more then normal age appropriate use / condition issues - then it will shown in the listing / pictures. Please ask questions prior to purchase if there are concerns. Majority of my items for sale are pre-loved treasures that were most likely purchased at a local Estate Sale or a local resale shop in Arizona.
