Description: CONDITION: Excellent, first quality. This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by Meissen between 1924 and1934. The crossed swords mark in underglaze with a dot which indicates the “Pheiffer” period. The plate measures 10 1/2 inches in diameter and may be called a charger. The edge of the plate has serpentine contours. There is a vibrant spray of realistically hand painted flowers in the center. There are 3 vignettes around the cobalt blue border. They are framed in elegant hand gilding. The rim of the plate is richly gilded. There are 6 plates available, different bouquets and all in excellent condition. Price is for one. 6 are available.
