Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE DESCRIPTION__________________________________________________________________ An earthenware urn, of bulbous tapering form. By the Kinkozan studio, Kyoto, Meiji Era (C.1868 - 1912), late 19th century. The body decorated with opposing scene panels, one depicting Japanese figures in traditional landscape and the other with Chickens in a garden setting. The borders filled with a rich cobalt blue enamel and gilt detailing mounted with a pair of handles and pedestal base. Fitted with the original lid. Double signed "Kinkozan" with calligraphy signature and factory label to inner lid. Inner lip has been restored and some surface wear to the gilding. No further issues. 9cm high. Pick up can be arranged upon the buyer's request. All items are professionally packaged to avoid damage whilst in transit. In the event an item is lost, buyers will be refunded after an insurance claim has been both approved and paid. All International buyers will assume full responsibility for fees, duties or taxes imposed on them by local customs authorities. No refunds will be issued for items seized by customs, unless they are returned within 14 days of receipt and in the same condition as when dispatched.
