Description: Rare antique hypodermic syringe set from the post Civil War era marked Sharp & Smith - surgical instrument maker of 73 Randolph St, Chicago. Original glass medicine vial with stopper intact. Appears to have a gold plated needle as mentioned in the catalogue reference. The color of the inner case lining is more purple in real life - I had a bit of trouble capturing the true color with the camera hence the several repeat photos. Catalogue reference not included.
