Description: Antique Markham King Model 1904 Repeater Air Rifle, owned by Dr. Robert D. Beeman (of Beeman Airguns) .180 large BB Cal., domed muzzle cap which unscrews, spring release at muzzle, oval shaped stocks without markings. Later versions of the 1904 were not marked. Untested, but the action fires when cocking, does not sound strong though, may need seals, tune-up. the barrel hangs down approx .25" when rifle is vertical, when cocked, the barrel does not stay up by itself, top screw needs tightening. Mfg. circa 1904. Measures 31" overall.PROVENANCE: Has brass tag with cable and signet lock attached to trigger guard. Brass tag stamped, "PRIVATE COLLECTION R.D. BEEMAN 1280". The signet lock has his initials on it, "RDB".
