Description: Just out of a local smoke free house is this antique iron Flensing knife. It has a triangular form with a cast upper portion connected to the blade. The whaling tool measures about 15 3/4 inches from the tip of the blade to where the handle or pole enters the tool. The blade measures about11 1/4 inches from tip to tail. The tool measures about 11 1/4 inches high. It has a slight curve or offset in its casting. The tool has some pitting from rust over the years but was cleaned up years ago and will display well.
