Published for Mr Tindal's Continuation of Mr Rapin's History of England. [London, James & Paul Knapton, c1737. Engraved map. 355 x 470mm to the inner border, vertical folds, some light age toning and light offsetting from the text pages, more noticeable verso. Vertical Folds, as issued. Blank verso, though with some offsetting from the text, small pin prick hole, but generally in good condition. A Bird's eye view of the battlefield of the Siege of Douay, showing battle lines and positions, contours and geographical features such as buildings, fortifications, fields and rivers.
