Antique Magic Lantern Oil Lamp Slide Projector Maker Unknown 9-1/2" Tall

Description: Item up for sale is a wonderful antique magic lantern glass slide projector with oil burner. The reservoir has NOT been filled or tested as we are not sure if kerosene or lamp oil would have been used in this piece so new owner should have this piece examined prior to attempted use. Underside of the base looks to have had some old soldering repairs done. Projector is 3 distinct pieces being made up of the burner, interior cone with magnifying lens and exterior setting with projector lens. Glass in lenses shows no chips, cracks or breaks. All metal shows tarnish, soiling and patina consistent with age and use. Exterior setting shows paint and finish wear / loss throughout. Wick adjustment knob has markings we cannot quite make out with item showing no other manufacturer marking that we can find. When assembles this unit measures 9-1/2" top to bottom by 8" front to back (including extended handles and lens housing) by 4-3/4" across the base.
