Description: An absolutely stunning very long curtain. A gorgeous floral, urn & bird design in a heavy linen/linen union. Heavy dense gorgeous old linen. Circa 1930’s. Beautiful rich warmer palette of primarily reds, blues, ochre, greens, hints of rose & terra cotta on a nutty flaxy tan color (similar to straw) A bit difficult to capture the colors as the ground wants to appear somewhat cream. Stunning in person. Excellent quality. Excellent quality denser heavy linen. Possibly hand printed. Could be English in origin. Beautifully made. The majority of the clips are intact & top could also be modified. The bottom is unfinished/raw so will need a hem if intending to use as curtains. Measures~ 49” wide by 123” long. So almost 3 1/2 yds of fabric to work with as well. Very nice condition for it’s age. Well maintained. Definitely a most wonderful unique textile find.
