Description: Offered for sale is an Antique Blacksmith made 36” long two handed Ice Cutting Saw. This saw was made in the Late 1800s Early 1900s to cut blocks of ice and also used to cut bales of hay. It has only one of its two original wooden handles remaining. Rather than leaving this item as a Rusted unrecognizable tool I removed the surface rust with rust remover and differing grades of sand paper and steel wool. The forged steel is still pitted and scratched while the remaining wood handle is cracked but intact. This ice saw is heavy weighing 3 lbs. 9 ounces! This antique hand tool is a great item for wall art and decoration in your garage work shop, barn or man cave. FREE PICKUP IS AVAILABLE IN LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA 92677.
