This lamp has what is referred to as a Berkeley shaped shade with a reversed painted and acid etched autumn colored scene that has been referred to as the Italian Landscape Scene. This unusual painted shade is marked, ‘Ambero’ and this glass shade measures 18″ diameter. Ambero art glass was made for only 2 or 3 years from 1915 – 1917. Note that the shade is stamped with the ‘Pairpoint Corporation’ signature and the lamp pedestal is also engraved with the ‘Pairpoint’ signature on the underside of base. This lamp is 21 1/2″ high and the pedestal base is 7 1/2″ diameter. Notice that the lamp base is made with mahogany wood for a nice turned pedestal lamp base and it has decorative metal filagree band at the middle of the base.
