Description: Antique John Ridgway & Co. 6/29 Pattern Large Cauldon Soup Tureen Earthenware This is an excellent large soup tureen by John Ridgway & Co. in Cauldon, England, circa 1830 to 1855. The tureen does have some light wear and scuffs, but it is in excellent condition overall. Please review the item condition section and description for more information. The pattern number is 6/29, and due to the Chinese-style patterning, it is referred to as the "Peking" border. The vibrantly multi-colored tureen features gold accents to enhance its beauty. It's made out of earthenware, which was then glazed and painted. This would be an excellent addition to any collection and elevate any dinner party or soiree.
