Description: This is an early all original Japanese leather tobacco pouch with stag horn pipe holder. The dark brown tooled leather one piece fold over ouch has a closer with multi metal clasp. The clasp cover is a dragon with great detail and with a silver pig on his back. The dragon has gold and silver accents; gold horns and whiskers and also silver claws. It is Hard for me to tell how thick the gold is but the silver on the pig appears to be solid. The dragon is oxidized. The interior closure is silver colored metal with no markings. Please inspect photos taken from many angles. There is a braided cord attaching the pouch to the stag horn pipe threaded through a carved nut ojime. The stag horn pipe holder is highly carved and would stand alone as cultural significant art.
