Description: Very decorative antique Japanese Arita free form hand painted blue and white scalloped dish above a short foot with gilding and touches of copper red. Features a house and trees on the banks of a river with mountains in the distant background. Has a copper red seal mark on the interior of the bowl and a blue seal mark on the underside. Measures 7" diameter by 2.5" height and would be a beautiful chinoiserie display on a table top or shelf. In very good estate condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs.
