Description: This is a wonderful antique James Dixon & Sons of Sheffield, England pewter coffee pot with a wood handle. The hinged lid works as it was meant to. The handle is a loose, but still intact. The pot is stamped on the bottom James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield with a trumpet symbol, dating this pot between 1890 and 1920. Inside the pot is a note stating the pot was purchased at Portobello Road Flea Market in London, UK. The note is not dated. The pot is approximately 8" at its' tallest and 6 1/4" at its widest. This coffee pot is in good condition for its age. The handle is loose on top where it connects to the pot. There are a few small dents and one spot where the pewter is discolored.
