Antique Jacquard woven drape curtain Floral + silk velour Victorian The Textile

Please follow us on Instagram @textiletrunk ~*~ WOW ~ this curtain is STUNNING ~ this textile has a heavy , woven jacquard center and its bordered by silk velour! This textile dates 1890-1910 ~ The velour has flecks of tones from the jacquard, its really WONDERFUL! The only drawback of this curtain is that it will have to be cleaned. I dont like to alter these textiles for collectors, but this textile will have to be cleaned as it is a bit stinky! It has a slight smell of like a towel put away damp ~ like that! It will dry clean perfectly, without any remaining odor, and really could use it anyway as I think too it would brighten the panel! Its REALLY beautiful ~ HEAVY , this panel weighs over 11pounds!! ~ there is a thick interlining and a backing too. The beautiful original rings are still intact. They match BEAUTIFULLY with the tone of the curtain, chippy paint and all! ~*~ This textile will well reward the new owner , once cleaned and hung properly ~*~ It will be WELL worth the trouble. MEASUREMENTS: This panel measures approximately 104inches by 65 inches ~ about 55 inches at the top. were it is pleated. CONDITION : This panel is in as found, not freshly laundered condition~ Please see above for all condition details! ~ There is a LARGE HOLE NEAR THE TOP ~ please see photographs! ~*~ The backing also has some small holes and could use cleaning!
