I am not knowledgeable about antique clocks but I acquired this one because it is beautiful. I have had it sitting on my work bench for several days and, when I move it, the pendulum begins to swing, the clock begins to run and has done so for short periods ranging from 2 minutes to a little over an hour. I have watched/listened to it chime on the hour and it has a beautiful sound. I have not wound it because I didn’t want to do something to mess up the operation. My non-expert opinion from researching this clock is that the movement may need cleaning, oiling or mechanical service for optimal operation.Clock Body - Very nice cosmetic condition as shown. Please see ALL photos you be the judge - Very minor finish wear - No chips, cracks or damage to be found in the clock main housing. There is a chip on the back lower corner as shown - not visible when looking at clock from the front.This clock will be shipped with great attention paid to it fragile nature. The pendulum weight will be removed and packed separately to ensure safe arrival.
