Antique IHC Type-L Magneto 1 1/2 3HP M Hit Miss Gas Engine

Description: Up for sale Type L magneto. The mounting holes have a 2” on center bolt spacing. The mounting holes are not the greatest looking condition but as long as you are careful installing they should work just fine. Original gear included. Pot metal base has some pitting. This magneto will produce a weak spark by using a test wire and by giving it a quick spin by hand. I turned it using a small drill as it was tricky to see a spark by hand, it puts out a very hot looking spark when it’s turned a decent speed. Definitely will need a recharge or some work before it could start an engine in its current condition. Please see all pictures for the absolute best description!
