Description: Antique Hunting/skinning Knife Antique Frontiersman/mountain man Skinning/hunting knife. I find these blades fascinating. Imagine the stories they could tell. This comes from An era when people didn’t throw things away. They sharpened their knives down to a nub and used them their entire lives. Made from high quality hardwood handles and brass rivets. This is honestly my favorite knife in my collection, simply due to the fact that it has so much history behind it. Was probably passed on from father to son for generations. It takes a LONG time to get a knife sharpened down this much. Also it was done the right way, with wet stone, not chewed up on a grinder. It’s incredibly sharp. This is a solid knife. Heavy in the hand but perfectly balanced.
