Description: Gorgeous Mid Century gothic spanish revival large wrought Iron chandelier. The chandelier is all original in good antique condition. The light was saved from a renovation. The huge milk glass globe is just stunning in the center. The chandelier is old, most likely from the 1960s during the spanish revival era. The frame is made of thick wrought Iron ribbon bands welded onto two decorative finished iron ring center bands. The center bands are finished in antique bronze type finish with slight hughes of green and black tinted brushed in accents. The light holds one standard size bulb in the center of the gigantic milk glass globe. The black finish has age related patina spots throughout, the center black rod holding the globe has scrapes and scratches in the paint from sliding the cap up for bulb changes over the years. There is a slight ting in the black domed cap that sits atop the globe but very minor and not seen when hanging. The light is very old circa 1950s-60s, please keep in mind there are slight imperfections throughout such as age patina and usage ware. The top finial has a little bit of a lean to it, looks like it may have been cast that way when made or possibly just slightly bent. One of the lower wrought iron bands is a little loose, it looks like it never had a weld from the factory like the others but is only a superficial flaw, not a structural issue. The light is very large and measures- approximately 31" from ceiling to bottom x 22" diameter. Overall the chandelier is in nice original vintage condition, any updating or restorations will be up to the new owner and/or thier contractors discretion. There is a mounting bar for the ceiling cap for installing, any other mounting hardware required will need to be accessed and provided by the new owner.
