Description: This lovely faced antique doll by Hertwig is part of the "Pet Names" series of dolls. There were several named dolls in the series. This one is "Ethel" , which is molded on the front chest with some gold accents. She has lovely molded blonde hair color. The words "Patent Applied For" along with "Germany" are molded in the back of the breastplate.The head/breastplate measures 6 1/4 inches in height and the body is 22 inches in length. She has carved lower wooden arms and legs with carved and painted shoes. The body if firmly stuffed and she has her linen pantaloons.If you would prefer just purchasing the porcelain Head/Breastplate, I will remove the body and adjust the shipping.
