Featuring a scalloped edge around the bowl which repeats around the candle port edge, it is complete with an applied ring handle - underside is marked CFH GDM for Charles Field Haviland/ Gerard, Dufraisseix Morel. Signed with a decorator's mark as shown, it is painted a cheerful yellow with gold accenting. Condition is mint with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs, discoloration or damage - I think the little slot on the side is so that you can clean out old wax.
