Description: Fabulous and old wrought iron gate lock in shape of guitar. Dating to early to mid 20th century and likely of Mexico origin. These were quite popular in late 19th century/1800s for securing the hacienda gates to the courtyard. This early example is very good condition and measures about 12” length and 5 inches across. Working condition with original key. Estate found in an old New Orleans family. Collected in Mexico circa 1970. All items now include $2.50 for shipping insurance in transit.
