Description: This one-of-a-kind handmade teddy bear has been in our little family for five generations. It was hand stitched by my great grandmother, from my grandfather’s actual baby quilts. It really could be a charming addition to any antique display or collection. The antique patchwork quilt design features a beautiful floral theme in pink and blue, making it a perfect gift for a “shabby chic” collector, or as a decorative item. The bear stands at 18 inches tall and is made of old-world, antique cotton material. This darling does have “love flaws”as I’ve tried to show in photographs. Some of the fabric has become thin over the ages, and there are some splits in thin areas and seams. The lighter colored fabrics do show some “yellowing” just from age. She’s never ever been in a smoking household, and life in New Mexico is generally fairly dry. So - no mold or that terrible “old things moldy smell” on her.
