It is entirely hand made and includes five insertions of Point de Venise needle lace, an edge of narrow filet lace and fine cut-work embroidery throughout. The fabric is soft semi-sheer linen lawn. It is 20" X 15" and closes with three little buttons on the back ( I don't know if the buttons are originals). I believe it dates to ca. 1910. Condition: Excellent for 115 year old lace. It is freshly hand-washed and pressed and ready to use. Two small repairs, shown in photos #11 and #12. On the back there are a few tiny pin holes shown in photo #10. On the back, a small, very faint yellow mark, just barely visible in photo #9 top center.
