Description: Antique Hand Painted Porcelain Gilted "Josephine" Portrait Bowl. Condition is used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. Stunning hand painted & gilted embossed scalloped porcelain cabinet bowl has Josephine's portrait centered! I believe this bowl is either Austrian or German. It is unmarked. Josephine's portrait looks like a possible transfer that is hand painted or tinted. The rest of the bowl, including the underside, is all hand painted. Some minor wear to gilting. Josephine was the 1st empress of France. Married to Napoleon. She lived from 1762-1814. Bowl is believed early to mid 1800s. It is in exceptional condition! No chips. No cracks. No crazing. No loss of paint. Very minor wear to gilting. Measures: 2"x11" Scrapes and scuffs are normal with age. Item is antique. No chips cracks or crazing. Please refer to all pictures.
