Description: For sale is this antique blacksmith hand forged draw knife, weighing 1lb. 5.4 oz., and measuring 14-1/2" long from handle to handle. Unsigned, it has a good edge, possibly forged from a file based on the pattern left behind, measuring 1-3/8" wide X 8-13/16" long, and will respond well to honing and sharpening by a experienced hand. The wood handles are sound and solid, and measure 4-1/2" long, including their brass ferrules. Beautiful antique example of Yankee ingenuity. Any honing, sharpening, cleaning and detailing is left up to you.
