I'd love to get this chair sold!I am not sure what kind of wood this is, but since the chair is light, some info I've read suggests 1800's, which I believe is accurate. Not sure what those lines are on the back of the chair back area--they are NOT cracks. No cracks anywhere on the chair. Everything is sold & secure--no wobbliness. There are minor scratches in areas.
