Description: NY state document box in old green over blue paint. Green paint is old, likely before 1890. Original hinges and lock. White pine. Found in New York State. Likely made in New York too. Square nails. 1840-1860. Good oxidation to the bottom and interior wood. 12 and half inches across. 7 inches deep. 5 inches tall. Condition: Good condition. Displays well. Nice old paint. Green over an older blue paint. All original. No repairs. No touch ups to the paint. Has a decent sized gouge in the back. Its old damage. Some scratches and edge wear otherwise. Nothing too bad considering the age. Mostly usage wear or from being moved around storage. See photos and video to determine condition.
