Description: Antique Grainger Worcester Cobalt Blue & Gold Floral Coffee Cup & Saucer C. 1830 Very pretty early British porcelain coffee cup and saucer. Nicely decorated in a cobalt blue and gold gilt floral sprig pattern. With gold gilt highlights to the handle of the cup, and a thin gold gilt band around the center of the outside of the cup and the foot rim. These do not have a manufacturer's mark, but the cup has a distinctive form and shape that matches marked pieces of Grainger Worcester. Has the pattern number 1477 in gold on the bottom. The cup and saucer both have crazing and some wear to the gilding. Otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. The cup measures approximately 4 1/2 inches wide including the handle x 3 3/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 6 inches wide. I have multiple available. This listing is for one cup and saucer. Please also note that due to this the wear to the gilding may differ slightly from the images provided as they are stock images. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
