Description: This antique gold-filled (or possibly gold plated) tie tack pin is a unique piece of jewelry with a history behind it. The tie tack is vintage and made by the Terryberry company in Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA They have been in business for more than a hundred years and are still in business This is an obvious antique in its original box from the 50s or 60s possibly. The pin features a single round ruby gemstone, which adds a touch of elegance to the piece. The gemstone is not enhanced and is loupe clean, ensuring its natural beauty is preserved. It is a beautiful deep pink red color, it is small I do not know the ct wt. The tie tack is made by the Terry Berry company from Grand Rapids, Michigan and was originally designed for men. There are some numbers on the back of the titanic, but I am unable to make them out, even with my Loupe. The pin has the initials "PC" which to me, stands for "privileged character". LoL!! I think it would make a great gift for your favorite ""PC"" !! The base metal is possibly brass, but it is gold filled or gold-plated. The tie tack is from the United States and is in excellent condition. This is a great addition to any antique jewelry collection or for those who appreciate unique pieces with a story.
