Description: Tall 6 stack Globe Wernicke quarter-sawn tiger oak in style 811 with the wood grade of 298 1/2 tiger oak on a four legged base. This bookcase is in excellent condition with very few marks for being almost 100 years old. Most of the interior shelves show little to no wear. I have to admit that this bookcase does not have the most vibrant tiger oak graining but the wood is in superior condition. The height of this bookcase is 88 3/4" tall, 34 5/16" wide from right to left and 11 1/2" deep front to back outside measurements. Inside ALL book sections are a generous 11" tall clearance with the doors in the open position. With the doors closed the front to back depth is 10" in each section. There is also an optional other book section that can also be purchased if you want a 7 stack bookcase. Overall this bookcase is comprised of 8 pieces. There are six book sections with lift and slide doors as well as the base with four legs and at the top is the crown or cap piece. The top has a few scattered marks but nothing distracting.
