Description: For sale is this pleasing mid-19th century gilt brass or bronze miniature bust of who I believe is Giuseppe Garibaldi, the man who unified modern-day Italy. It is set in a black ebonized wood frame with gilt lip. I would estimate it was made around 1850. It has been sympathetically restored at some point but the frame, glass and back screw are all original to the sculpture. The frame measures about 22 centimeters tall by about 18 cms wide. It weighs a total of 475 grams. The bust is in good condition. Some minor wear to the wood frame. Please refer to photos and feel free to ask questions; I usually get back to you quickly! Shipping will be free within the UK. There is a reasonable shipping charge for foreign buyers, but I will consolidate both miniatures for one low price. The items I sell are fully guaranteed to be as I have described them. I often go on buying trips in the U.K. and to France so keep checking my page. I happily accept returns if you are dissatisfied with an item. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
