Description: Gorgeous, bright gold gilding in excelent condition! I took a lot of close-up photos to show the excellent condition of the gilding! A rare piece with all components. Arm slides easily up and down pole, with a decorative screw to tighten in place. Alll articulating arms work. Complete with eyelets for attaching fabric. Antique decorative piece of hardware that was intended to be a fireplace screen holder in the Victorian era. It was clamped to the mantel, and usually, an embroidered panel was stitched to the rings on the bar. There are three hinges allowing it to be moved into a number of configurations. The screen holder and tip on the bottom of the arm both unscrew from the pole. All screws function well. Approximately 19-1/4" x 13-5/8" Manufactured by C & T.
