Description: Offered for sale is a 24 inch antique German bisque doll on a fully jointed composition body. The head has sleeping brown eyes and an open mouth with teeth. The head is typical Kestner quality with nice painting. The clothing has a pink silk top over a white skirt and a full petticoat. It is marked: made inH 1/2 Germany 12167 The head has been washed since the pictures were taken. There is a small triangular piece missing on the rim of the head, it is covered by the original plaster pate. The doll has no other damage nor repair. The body has most of the original paint and varnish, There is filling and chipping around the joints. The hands have been repainted. The clothing is in nice condition and clean.
